Travelling Moose

No matter how much packing stress I have, #travelingmoose is always going to be my little travel companion for three reasons: 1) #travelingmoose belonged to my mom who passed away from a brain tumor, 2) I hate having my picture taken, and 3) #travelingmoose has become a great way to engage with people, both online and in person.

When someone sees me with the moose they immediately become curious about my little friend. The majority of the time, especially with my fellow journalism professionals, they always know there is a story.

This year, I've added something else to moose's attire courtesy of my nieces; collars.
